Changing decimals into percents

When you change a decimal into a fraction you multiply it by a hundred, because every percent is out of 100. Here is an example of changing a decimal to a percent 0.6 = 60% This is how I found out the answer, I took 0.6 and multiplied it by 100 and it told me the answer.
