Bolivia

Today in social studies we have a test. The test was on all about Bolivia and Victor and Samuel. We watched a video on the computer and Victor and Samuel were in the video. Victor and Samuel are two kids that ride the bus from there house to up town where they live and they wash peoples car windows for them. Some people pay them but some people don't pay them and some curse and swear at them.

Raising The Roof

Raising the Roof is an NGO in Canada that helps the homeless. They're trying to make a long term solution for homelessness in Canada. Did you know that one third of Canada's homeless people are in between the ages of 16-24?Raising The Roof says that homelessness can be beat if more volunteers help the homeless become financially stable.

Plumpy nut

The other day in social studies class we learned what plumpy nut was it is a kind of food that save little kids lives. Lots of kids have survived because of the plumpy nut but lots haven't.
