Verb Tenses

The tense of a verb tells the time of the action or being. There are three simple tenses-present,past, and future.
The Present Tense tells about what is happening now. Examples:Conrad is busy.Conrad studies hard.
Past tense tells about something that happened before. Example: Conrad was sick yesterday.
Future tense tells about something that will happen. The auxiliary verbs will and shall are used in future tense. EXamples: Conrad will takethe test tomorrow.

Common and Proper Nouns

Common nouns name any object. Examples child, tree, home
Proper nouns name a particular person, place or thing. It begins with a capital letter.

In grammar a few days ago we learned about proper nouns they are Person Place or Things that have capitals Ontario is a proper noun because it is a important place so it has a capital

Idoims

Yesterday in grammer we learned about idioms. Idioms are expressions that has a different meaning than the usual meanings of the individual words within it.
Example: Jack and Ellen knew they were in hot water when their car died.
That means that Jack and Ellen will be in trouble when their car died.

An Idiom is a form of expression natural to a person, group or language.

Example: "Break a Leg" is a way of saying good luck without actually saying it.
